Marcus Rashford has chosen to remain upbeat about Manchester United’s title chances, despite United being eight points behind Manchester City.
The Citizens moved eight points clear at the top, after beating Tottenham 3-0 on Saturday, with a game in hand.
United have a chance to cut the deficit to five when we play West Brom on Sunday, and ahead of the game, Rashford maintains it’s still possible for United to steal the title this season, as long as the team remain focused.
He told Sky Sports, “There is still a chance. There is always a chance.
“But we just have to focus on ourselves and focus on taking steps forward as a team. We are far from the finished article. The team that you see this season should hopefully improve next season.
“We are still on the journey of becoming the best team that we can be. If we do that, then we have definitely got a chance of winning big trophies.”
Leicester City are also now ahead of Man United on the table, but that can change if with a win for United later today.
