Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has revealed he misses the support from the United fans on social media and also misses celebrating goals with supporters in stadiums.
When asked if he felt he was robbed of the thrill of playing with the home crowd at Old Trafford, Bruno Fernandes told the official website: “No, just a little bit disappointed.
“As I’ve said before, coming to the Premier League and coming to play for Manchester United, the atmosphere of the game day, I’m not living that at all.
“I’m feeling the support of them [the fans] on social media and when we can see them sometimes if I go to the supermarket and they say some words because we can’t be closer than that.
“It’s really good when you have that support and, of course, coming from the stands would be much better.”
The Portuguese has not enjoyed the support of the United fans in stadiums as he has only played just four times in front of the Old Trafford faithful since joining the club last year January.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, games are continuing to be played behind closed doors.
