Manchester United equal long-standing FA Cup record after West Ham victory

Manchester United beat West Ham 1-0 on Tuesday, to progress to the 6th round of the FA Cup.

The victory, which came at Old Trafford, was our 9th consecutive win in as many home games in the competition.

The last time United managed to win 9 FA Cup home games in a row was over a century ago— between 1908 and 1912, when Ernest Magnall was still in charge.

United have played some good football this season, and seem primed to win their first trophy in three years, as we continue to compete in the FA Cup, the Europa League and the EPL.
