Solskjaer explains why Scott McTominay scores a lot of goals

Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has attributed Scott McTominay’s goal-scoring heroics for Manchester United to his history as a striker.

The Scotsman came in from the bench, to score our winner against West Ham on Tuesday night, and send us into the Quarter finals of the FA Cup.

The goal was his third in three successive home games for United, and Solskjaer believes being an ex-striker has helped him a lot.

The gaffer said after the game, “Scott [McTominay] used to be a striker and I think he finishes with authority.

“You see that he doesn’t mind being in those positions. He just smashed the ball into the net.”
