Revealed: Why West Ham game was a special one for Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford was on the pitch as Manchester United beat West Ham on Tuesday.

It was the forward’s 250th game for United, and to mark the occasion, he was involved in our winning goal, by providing the assist for Scott McTominay.

At just 23, this is almost an incredible feat, and something many other players only dream of.

Rashford has had a glorious season for Man United, as he also recently surpassed the 82 goal record set by the legendary Eric Cantona, after scoring his 83rd in the 9-0 win against Southampton last week.

Rashford has also received numerous honours this year, in celebration and appreciation of his efforts to reduce child poverty across the UK.

Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has also stated that United have to start winning trophies as well, and as long as the team continues to play well and win games, we can’t be too far off from achieving this goal.
