Stats show what Manchester United need to improve on to compete for the title

Manchester United conceded three goals against Everton on Saturday, to pretty much hand the Premier League title to Manchester City.

The Red Devils have now fallen five points behind the Citizens, who still have a game in hand.

It’s not the first time we have been defensively poor at home, as we’ve previously conceded some sloppy ones.

In fact, Man United have let in a total of 18 goals at Old Trafford this season— one of the worst numbers for any team in the competition, with only West Brom (21) and Newcastle United (21) letting in more.

United have also now conceded three or more for the third time against Everton this season, which doesn’t tell well on our defensive ability.

The season is far from over, and anything could still happen, but United must improve and get better if we want to stand a chance of competing for any trophy this season.
