Manchester City have gone five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, after defeating Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s side thrashed their hosts 4-1, despite missing a penalty, to continue their march to the title.

The Citizens have 50 points, while Manchester United have 45 points in second place.

Meanwhile, Leicester City are still third, with 43 points, while Liverpool are in fourth, with 40 points.

City continue to have a game in hand, and could be 8 points clear if they win the match.

Can Manchester United still have a successful title fight?
