Bruno Fernandes has moved one step closer to winning this season’s golden boot award in the Premier League, after scoring against Everton over the weekend.

The Portuguese’ wonder strike was a memorable one, and indeed, reminiscent of the one the legendary Eric Cantona scored against Sunderland back in the 1996/97 season.

With it, the midfielder has now scored 13 goals in the league, and sits just two behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah on the rankings.

Fernandes is also now the highest scoring midfielder in England, and sits ahead of strikers like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Jamie Vardy and Roberto Firmino.
