Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained his decision to start both Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani against Everton.

Solskjaer made one change to the team that beat Southampton 9-0 as Paul Pogba replaced Fred in the midfield pivot.

“It’s important on a day like this when we want to press, start on the front foot and Edinson is vital for us there,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told MUTV about his starting XI choice.

“Paul has been excellent the last couple of months, he had his well-earned rest against Southampton and now he’s ready to go again.”

Paul Pogba was later replaced by Fred after picking up a muscle injury in the game.
