West Ham United boss David Moyes has hinted he will be keen to turn Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard’s loan move into a permanent deal in the summer.
The England international joined the Hammers on loan during the winter window and scored a brace on his debut.
Former United boss Moyes wants the player to remain at the London Stadium beyond the duration of his loan move.
“He was always a fit young player so getting some match practice is important and he has set himself a good standard,” Moyes told a press conference.
“If he likes it here we can have a look at it in five or six months’ time.”
