Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is keen to leave Real Madrid this summer, as he nears the end of his contract with the Spanish champions.
The 34 year old is believed to be eyeing a move to the Premier League, and Manchester United is his preferred destination, according to The Mirror.
Ramos has been offered a new contract by Madrid, which is in the region of the same £10.8 million a year he currently earns, but he’s stalling because he believes that with the current 10% pay cut the players accepted to take at the Bernabau, it would amount to him earning less.
Ramos, who is 35 this March, has also received offers from Asia, but his brother, Rene Ramos, who is his manager, also wants him to come to England.
In his 15 year stay at Madrid, the centre back has won 18 trophies, and he would no doubt bring massive experience to Old Trafford if he finally does come.
