Manchester United goalkeeper, Sergio Romero has reportedly returned to training at Carrington, the club has confirmed.

Romero is close to a switch to another club, after failing to feature for the Red Devils so far this season.

With his contract at Old Trafford set to expire this summer, United are desperate to sell the player this January, and make some money off his sale.

Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has already said the goalie’s contract will not be renewed, which means an exit this month is almost certain.

Romero has not played a single game for United this season, after failing to make the squad for both the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League.
