According to Sport1 (via Mirror), German side Borussia Dortmund are set to lower their £108m asking price for Jadon Sancho in order to raise cash to compensate for losses of £88million due to the financial impact of the Covid-19 crisis.

The German media outlet claim the Bundesliga giants are relying on the winger’s sale at the end of the season to boost their finances.

It is believed that Dortmund don’t expect any club to pay that fee for Jadon due to the player’s dip in form this season, and thus will be ready to lower their demands.

The Englishman was the subject of transfer interest from the Red Devils last season, but the club baulked at his asking price and decided against completing a deal.
