Manchester United defender, Victor Lindelof has expressed delight with Mason Greenwood’s contribution in our 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday.
The teenager brought us level with Liverpool, after Mohamed Salah gave them the lead in the opening minutes of the clash.
Greenwood also had an input in our second goal from Marcus Rashford, as he provided the assist, and Lindelof has revealed he’s happy for the forward’s development.
He told MUTV in a post-match interview, “I was very happy for him [Mason Greenwood], he’s a brilliant young player for him to get a goal and an assist is great for him, hopefully he can keep building and improving.”
Mason Greenwood has struggled to replicate his success from last season this term, but it’s good to see the Englishman finally catching up, and we hope the streak continues.
