Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rotated his squad for today’s FA Cup game against Liverpool.
Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek was given a rare start for Manchester United.
According to Manchester United boss Solskjaer, he started van de Beek against Liverpool because the Dutch man needs games.
Solskjaer also admitted the game against Liverpool is a big game for Donny to come in to.
Solskjaer told BBC Sport: “Well, it’s rotation in the squad. Donny [van de Beek] needs to play games as well; it’s a big game for Donny to come in to.
“He’s done nothing wrong when he’s been around, so I look forward to seeing him.”
