“Hopefully not too bad” – Solskjaer reveals Manchester United player suffered a knee injury against Liverpool

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford suffered a knee injury in the 3-2 FA Cup victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

Our no.10 was replaced by Anthony Martial four minutes from time and headed straight up the tunnel.

When asked whether Rashford will be okay for our next match, Solskjaer told BBC Sport: “Let’s hope so. His knee was bothering him.

“[He’ll have a] scan tomorrow and we’ll see where we are.”

Meanwhile, Rashford set up Mason Greenwood for Manchester United’s first goal and finished with aplomb past Alisson after Greenwood returned the favour with a pass.

Rashford’s goal against Liverpool is his 15th goal of the campaign in all competitions, from 31 appearances for the Reds.
