Solskjaer keen on signing Serie A midfielder after Bruno Fernandes struggled against Liverpool

Manchester United have heavily depended on Bruno Fernandes since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon and his performance against Liverpool shows the Portuguese midfielder needs a good backup as he can’t continue to play every game for Manchester United.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly found the perfect backup for Fernandes.

According to transfer expert Ian McGarry, Manchester United are interested in signing wantaway Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen on loan till the end of the season.

The Dane is set to leave the Nerazurri before the transfer window shuts down, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on bringing the former Spurs midfielder to Old Trafford.

The Norwegian sees him as an excellent backup to talismanic midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The 28-year-old has so far failed to score a goal or even register an assist in 14 games for the Serie A giants.
