‘The best I’ve seen anyone handle Salah’ — Graeme Souness praises Man United player after performance against Liverpool

Known Manchester United critic, Graeme Souness, has heaped praise on Luke Shaw, following his outstanding performance against Liverpool.

The left-back put in arguably his best performance in a Man United shirt, as we played out a goalless draw against the champions.

Shaw kept Mohamed Salah on a leash for the duration of the encounter, to help Man United secure the important point.

After the match, Souness was very impressed, and had some positive things to say about the Englishman and his teammates.

He said on Sky Sports, “Mohamed Salah didn’t skip past Luke Shaw once, who was arguably the best I’ve seen anyone handle Salah.

“David De Gea didn’t have many saves. No one was skipping past a defender, committing the next defenders to come out and openings are there. That didn’t happen for them today. Sadio Mane and Salah were kept very quiet.”
