Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has issued an injury update ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield.

According to Mane, he has overcome a back issue which saw him struggle late on against Aston Villa last time out.

“Yeah, it was just a knock and when I got it, it took a few minutes to settle down,” he told Liverpool’s official website.

“It was like a dead leg, but on my hip – not my back. After the game, I put an ice pack on it and it was fine. I am completely fine and looking forward.”
