Solskjaer gives Manchester United player greenlight to leave the club

According to reports, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants United goalkeeper Nathan Bishop to leave the club this month.

The 21 year old goalkeeper signed from Southend last year and then put pen to paper on a contract extension on Monday, tying him down at Old Trafford until 2023.

Bishop is behind David De Gea, Dean Henderson and Sergio Romero in the pecking order – and battling with Paul Woolston and Ondrej Mastny in the Under-23s and Solskjaer wants him to leave the club to build experience.

The Sun claim Manchester United want the 21 year old goalkeeper to join a Championship or League One side on loan.
