Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is delighted to see the Red Devils go to the summit of the Premier League, after showing resolve against Burnley on Tuesday night.
Paul Pogba’s brilliant volley proved the difference between the two sides, despite a great display by the hosts.
While reacting to the win and what it means for his boys after the game, Solskjaer said the mood amongst the lads is a great one, and he expects them to defend their position.
In his own words: “A brilliant position to be in. We are going to be ready for it. We are in good shape and good form.
“These boys are hungry. It will be a test of character and quality. If they don’t enjoy football in this position, they cannot enjoy football.”
United face Liverpool later this weekend, and could be six points clear if we get a win at Anfield.
