Manchester United defender, Timothy Fosu-Mensah has now completed a move to Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayer Leverkusen beat off competition from the likes of Hertha Berlin, Ajax and Marseille, to land the 23-year-old.
Apparently Fosu-Mensah wasn’t pleased with the contract offer he was handed by United, and he favours the move, as he feels undervalued in Olè Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
A £1.8 million deal is said to have been agreed, and the young defender has taken to social media to announce his departure from the club.
He wrote on Twitter: “Forever in my heart.. the staff, the players, the fans! Thank you for everything ❤️@ManUtd 🔴🔴🔴 #mufc #ggmu”
Meanwhile, Fosu-Mensah had only played 30 times for United since making his debut as a substitute in the 3-2 win over Arsenal in February 2016.
