Manchester United players receive warning ahead of Burnley clash

Manchester United boss Olè Gunnar Solskjaer has warned his boys not to get carried away if they go top of the Premier League.

The Red Devils play our game in hand against Burnley tonight, and could go three points clear of Liverpool, with whom we currently share the top spot with 33 points, if we get a win.

But Solskjaer is careful not to allow the good run of form in the league get to his head, and has warned his players not to for a minute think they have cracked it if they go top.

“We have to go into every game humble and not even think for one second we’ve cracked it if we’re near the top. That’s not the type of players we have,” Solskjaer said.

“If you think ‘we’ve made it now’, that is when it’s going to hit you back. So we are very focused. We have some good characters in the team, and the dressing room is more vocal.”

United will face Liverpool in a top of the table clash later this weekend, and could be 6 points clear of our rivals by this time next week.
