Manchester United left-back, Alex Telles, has hailed the impact of teammate, Bruno Fernandes at the club, saying he’s a ‘big presence’ in the dressing room.
Fernandes joined United from Sporting Lisbon in January, and has been a huge inspiration since then.
The midfielder has also begun the current season in superb fashion, and leads the goal scorers chart at Man United, with 10 strikes so far.
Speaking with O Jogo recently, Telles said of the Portuguese talisman, “He [Bruno Fernandes] is a very strong man in our dressing room, in the way he deals with each player.
“He has a leadership position, really. He is always helping with his position and that of his teammates.”
Telles, who joined from FC Porto in October, also appreciated Fernandes for helping him settle in well after the transfer.
“He [Bruno] helped me a lot in my adaptation here, as did Fred,” he said. “It is a great honour and pride to have a teammate like Bruno Fernandes.”
