Former Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj vows to get win against Manchester United

Ahead of our meeting with Spanish side, Real Sociedad in the Europa League, former Manchester United star, Adnan Januzaj, has revealed he and his teammates are ready to face the English giants.

Januzaj joined United in 2011 and made his debut for the senior team in the 2013/14 season.

But the Belgian never quite reached the heights expected of him, and had to be sold to Real Sociedad in 2017.

Januzaj has enjoyed a decent career with the Spanish side since he joined them, and is expected to play when we meet them in February.

While speaking recently about a potential return to Old Trafford, the 25 year old said he is eager to return to the club that helped shape his career, but his heart is now with Sociedad whom he expects to be on the winning side.

He’s quoted by Manchester Evening News as saying, “It is clear that I return home, where I have grown as a player, but my heart is now in Real Sociedad and I am going to do my best to get us through.

“We are playing very well for the moment. We have a young team, but with a lot of quality. We have David Silva, who gives us maturity in the game, Nacho Monreal, both have played before in the Premier and they know what it’s like to play there.

“It will be a difficult game for us, but for them too, and we will try to win as usual.”

Januzaj made 63 appearances for Man United, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists before his departure.
