Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an injury update on Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani ahead of the Manchester derby.
The Norwegian has revealed Martial will be available to play against Pep Guardiola’s side, but was uncertain about the involvement of Cavani.
When asked to provide a fitness update ahead of the Manchester City clash, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Anthony [Martial] will definitely be involved, Edinson [Cavani] has been on the grass but I’ll make a decision later.”
Both strikers were initially ruled out for our recent Champions League defeat to RB Leipzig, but it’s welcome news to have one of them back for our crunch tie against our ‘noisy neighbours’.
A win against City will see us break into the top three in the standings – with a game in hand.
