Former Liverpool centre back, Jamie Caragher, has labeled Paul Pogba ‘overrated’, following Mino Raiola’s latest comments about his future.
Pogba has just over a year remaining on his Man United contract, and fans had expected an extension from him, after weeks of speculations.
Instead, Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, on Monday, granted an interview to Tuttosport, where he claimed his client was done with Manchester United, and the best thing for both parties is for him to be sold.
The comments have infuriated many, including Caragher, who slammed Pogba, and urged United to get rid of him soon.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, Caragher said on Sky Sports: “Get rid! I’ve been saying this for 12 months. The most overrated player I’ve ever seen in my life!
“I think the two of them are a disgrace. We’ll all look at the agent now and ask Pogba what he thinks. Agents in this day and age, they are not just agents, they are a parent, a best friend, a financial adviser, they book holidays, they go away with each other.
“Those two will be like that (crosses fingers). He will be Pogba’s best mate. So Pogba will be well aware of what was going to come out of his mouth. And if he wasn’t, he should sack his agent.
“It’s very, very simple. That’s all that needs to happen. I mean I don’t know where he is going to go… who’s going to have him? I don’t get it?”
It’s not the first time Raiola has made such awful comments about Pogba and Man United, but many are particularly unhappy with this one because it comes at a time when United desperately need a win to qualify for the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
