Marcus Rashford has been nominated for the inaugural Fans Footballer Of The Year award, following his successes on and off the pitch in the last year.
Rashford has had quite the year, finishing second highest goal scorer for Man United last season, and beginning the current campaign in a great manner.
The 23 year old has also been actively involved in charity work, raising millions to feed impoverished children across the UK, as he aims to reduce poverty in the UK.
He has been nominated for the award, along with Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson, with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne also nominated.
The award will be noted for by fans online, according to Manchester Evening News, and results are expected to be announced on December 21.
