According to reports, Manchester United are weighing up a move for former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier.
The England internationa, who is currently plying his trade in Spain for Atletico Madrid, moved to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2019 and has become an integral part of the side under Diego Simeone.
The Telegraph reports that the club see Trippier as a more attacking option to Aaron Wan-Bissaka who offers little in attacking play. The former Spurs defender is under contract until 2022, and will unlikely be allowed to leave the Wanda Metropolitan Stadium.
The report from the Telegraph claim the Red devils will look to sign him in the summer when he will have just one year left on his contract.
It is left to be seen if the player will choose to forfeit his starting berth role at the Spanish side in order to play second fiddle to Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Old Trafford.
