Mason Greenwood has become the youngest player to reach 20 goals for Manchester United, following his strike against West Ham on Saturday.
The teenager gave United a 2-1 lead with a fine finish that came off an Alex Telles cross, after Paul Pogba brought us level.
The goal was his third for the season, and more than that, his 20th for Manchester United since he broke into the senior team.
It’s the first time a teenager would reach the figure for United since Norman Whiteside did the same in 1985.
What’s even more interesting is that Whiteside reached the figure while he was also 19.
Greenwood has had a slow start to the current campaign, after scoring 17 last term, but hopefully, his latest goal can serve as a catalyst for more success.
