Manchester United boss, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, has expressed hope the team can feed off the energy of the fans at the London Stadium today, when we meet on Saturday evening.
The Hammers welcome fans back into their stadium for the first time since earlier this year, after the UK government recently eased their restrictions in parts of the country.
It’s also the first time United will play in an atmosphere of that nature in a long time, and Solskjaer believes that while they’re not our fans, we can feed off the energy, and use it to cause the hosts trouble.
He said, “It’ll be great playing in front of fans; we’re looking forward to it.
“Of course, we won’t have our fans but we’ll just have to use the energy, or thrive off the home fans and make them quiet. Hopefully, we can make them edgy. We’re looking forward to it.”
United can make it five consecutive away wins this season, if we manage to take all three points from the London Stadium today.
