How Marcus Rashford impressed despite defeat against PSG

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has matched an incredible record set by club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy after his goal against PSG.

The England international scored our only goal of the night, and became the only United player since Ruud van Nistelrooy to score in three Champions League group stage games at Old Trafford.

The Dutch legend achieved this feat back in 2003/04, with Teddy Sheringham doing the same in 2000/01 and Juan Sebastian Veron in 2002/03.

Meanwhile, Manchester United must now get at least a point in next week’s meeting against RB Leipzig, to qualify from the Champions League group which has been tagged the group of death.
