Manchester United boss, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer is a delighted man, following Edinson Cavani’s brilliant display against Southampton on Sunday.
The Uruguayan put on a superb man of the match performance, as he scored twice and assisted another, to help Man United record a brilliant win.
After the match, Solskjaer was full of praise for the former Paris Saint-Germain star, and when asked if he sees a lot of himself in the 33 year old, he said, “He reminds me of Andy (Cole) with his movement in the box. He is so sharp, clever, great timing.
“I’ve got to say, he has not learned off me because I was ready when the game started or the second half started.
“I always had my boots tied and with the right studs on. He made us wait a little bit too long for my liking.”
It took Cavani a while to open his Man United register, but since his goal against Everton, the man has been on fire.
