Following the comeback win against Southampton, Manchester United boss Olé Gunnar Solskjaer gave an update on some of his injured players.
Solskjaer has expressed hope that Alex Telles will be available for selection again soon, following his late substitution during the win against Southampton last weekend.
The Brazilian was taken off and had to be replaced by Brandon Williams, after picking up a groin problem. However, Solskjaer believes the issue isn’t serious, and hopes he’ll be back soon.
Speaking to the media after the 3-2 win, the Norwegian said, “Alex [Telles] had an issue towards the end, but hopefully it won’t be too bad.”
Solskjaer also spoke on the progress of Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay, saying “Paul [Pogba] and Scott [McTominay], hopefully they can start training with us tomorrow. I don’t know, but hopefully.”
David De Gea also picked up an injury on Sunday, but it is expected that the Spaniard returns soon as well.
