Donny van de Beek has urged his teammates to turn up on Sunday, and try to show there have truly been some improvement in the side, by beating Southampton.
The Red Devils are currently on a three match winning streak, after losing to Istanbul Basaksehir in the UEFA Champions League, before the international break.
But tomorrow’s game is against a side that have equally been on a stunning run themselves, and the Dutchman doesn’t expect the encounter to be an easy one for us.
Speaking ahead of the match, he told the media, “I expect a really difficult game. I think they do really well. They are strong and play as a team.
“We need to watch for ourselves, though, and I think the most important thing is we now improve and that we show what we can do every week, not just every two or three matches, but we are consistent.”
The Saints are currently 5th on the Premier League table, just three off the top, where Tottenham sit as number one, before Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Brighton.
