Manchester United manager Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has compared the impact Bruno Fernandes has had at Man United to the type Cristiano Ronaldo has for the sides he plays for.
Fernandes has been at his best since making the move from Sporting Lisbon in January, with a total of 34 goal involvements in just 35 games.
His consistently impressive performances have drawn him comparison with some of the best in the game (past and present), including Cristiano Ronaldo.
And when asked to comment on the comparison with the former United forward recently, Solskjaer told the media, “He [Bruno] does have that presence [like Ronaldo]. Just look at the results since he came in.
“He is a team player, which is key for us now. I wasn’t looking forward to telling Bruno he was resting vs RB Leipzig, but he took it really well.”
Not only is Fernandes great on the pitch, the man is also wonderful outside it, and many have also hailed him as captain material.
