Marcos Rojo reveals the man made him love football

Manchester United defender, Marcos Rojo, has attributed his love for football to the great Diego Maradona.

The former Argentina coach died at 60 on Wednesday, November 25, after suffering a heart attack.

The news of his passing sent a feeling of sadness down the heart of every football lover, including Rojo, who took to his Instagram to immediately pay tribute to the legend.

He shared an old photo of the world cup winner lifting the trophy as he was surrounded by teammates.

Rojo also wrote: “Until forever Diego, you made us all happy. I love this sport and much is for you.

“We grew up dreaming to be a little Maradona. You will always be in the heart of all Argentines.”
