The UK government has revealed its plans to allow fans back to stadiums after the ongoing lockdown is lifted on December 2.
According to reports, the government has concluded plans to allow up to 4,000 fans back into stadiums in tier-1 areas, where the risk of spreading the deadly coronavirus is low.
Stadiums in tier-2 areas, where the risk of spreading the virus is significantly higher, will be allowed to host up to 2,000 fans, while tier-3 areas, where the risk of contracting the virus is considered at its strongest, fans will not be allowed into stadiums for now.
Sadly, Manchester United is included in tier-3, which means we won’t be allowed to host fans for now, but there’s hope.
The UK government is expected to release an updated list of its ranking for cities and areas in the country this Thursday, so perhaps, we wait and see if United will be downgraded to tier-1 or 2.
