Manchester United boss, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, has heaped praise on former Liverpool defender, Martin Skrtel and former Chelsea striker, Demba Ba, for the performances they produced the last time we met.

Demba Ba was among the goalscorers, after running free to score with just De Gea to beat, while Skrtel showed solidity in defence to help his side secure all three points.

If United are to win tonight, special attention must be paid to both players, and Solskjaer, and Solskjaer is well aware of this.

While speaking during a recent chat with the official Man United website, the Norwegian said of both players, “Yeah, Demba Ba played really well and Martin Skrtel as well.

“The two of them showed their experience and their value to the team. We knew about them, we knew that they are seasoned professionals who have been around the block and they showed their quality.

“In the rest of the team, there are Turkish internationals, Bosnian internationals, Norwegian internationals.”

United were very sloppy the last time we met the Turkish side, and we were duly punished. It would be very helpful for the lads to take the game seriously if we want to win.
