Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he’s very pleased with the healthy competition that currently exists between David De Gea and Dean Henderson.
Henderson is yet to start a Premier League match for United, and has only started three times this season, including the 2-1 loss to Istanbul Basaksehir before the international break.
Meanwhile, De Gea has been the preferred option for Solskjaer, whose faith in the Spaniard seems to be paying off.
Speaking ahead of our important game on Tuesday, when asked about the rivalry, the Norwegian said, “I’ve been very happy with the competition.
“Dean’s not really put a foot wrong & is developing, maturing along the way. I’m not going to give you the team now but I’m pleased with the reaction of both players.”
Recent reports have suggested Henderson may be on the move out of Old Trafford in January, as he seeks to gain more game time ahead of Euro 2020.
