Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has lauded Bruno Fernandes’s contributions to the club since his arrival in January.
The midfielder has been like a breath of fresh air for United since he joined from Sporting Lisbon, and contributing to more goals at the club than any other player.
Fernandes was again, at the heart of things, as United beat West Brom 1-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday, and Scholes was full of praise for the 26 year old.
He said on BT Sport, “You have to wonder where Man United would be without Fernandes. Everything goes through him. Creates chances and scores goals.
“Before Bruno came in, United could not really create a chance. And now he is here everything they do goes through him”.
Fernandes scored the only goal of the game to ensure we took all three points, but aside that, he was generally impressive, providing 6 key passes for the team.
