Manchester United goalkeeper no longer happy at the club

Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson is reportedly keen to leave Old Trafford on loan, in order to secure a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Euros 2020.

The Englishman extended his stay at Old Trafford some months ago, following a largely successful loan spell with Sheffield United.

Henderson had made it clear he wants to become United’s number one, but months have passed, and Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has continued to keep faith in David De Gea.

With the Euro drawing closer, and De Gea looking sharper than before, The Sun reports that Henderson is now considering a loan move to another club so as to boost his chances of taking over from Jordan Pickford, as England’s number one.

The 23 year old has already made his debut for the national team, after starring in the 3-0 win over the Republic of Ireland days ago, and would like to keep playing.

Leeds United, Bournemouth and Brighton are among the clubs said to be interested in Henderson, who will have made six loan moves since 2016.
