Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, has lost out the 2020 Golden Boy award to Erling Haaland.
The forward had been named alongside some of the most promising talents in Europe for this year’s edition of award, but sadly, he didn’t even make it to the final 10 contenders.
Instead, it is Borussia Dortmund’s Haaland, who pipped everyone else to the award, which is well deserved, considering his impressive contributions to the Bundesliga said since he joined them.
Just behind Haaland, is Barcelona star, Ansu Fati, who has also been impressive for them, while Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies comes third.
Greenwood is rated 12th on the list, which isn’t bad either, considering last season was his debut for United.
But the Englishman could get another chance to compete in the TuttoSport-organised award next year since he’s still under 21, if he impresses this season.
