Bruno Fernandes break penalty record at Man United

Bruno Fernandes has smashed yet another long-standing record at Manchester United, despite only coming in January.

Since his arrival, the Portuguese has been the designated penalty taker for Solskjaer’s side, and he’s been largely successful at them.

Fernandes scored his 12th penalty for Man United as we beat West Brom 1-0 on Saturday, to surpass the all time penalties that was scored by the legendary Dennis Irwin.

It is also worth noting that while it took Irwin 12 years to reach that tally, it has taken Fernandes just 10 months to surpass it.

The former Sporting Lisbon midfielder has only missed a penalty, and that was against Newcastle weeks ago, although we later won the match 4-1.
