According to reports, Premier League side Leicester City is the latest club to be linked with Manchester United transfer target Nuno Mendes.
The 18-year-old left-back has been impressive since breaking into the Sporting first team, and is also being chased by rivals, Arsenal.
The teenager is currently the first-choice left-back for Sporting and has started all nine matches this season and helping unbeaten Sporting to the top of the league.
Report from the Daily Mail claim Brendan Rodgers side are considering making an approach to sign Mendes.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been given the green light to sign Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.
According to Manchester Evening News, Real Madrid are open to selling the centre-back for about £100million.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best centre-backs in world football.
The club tried to sign Varane way back in 2011 under Sir Alex Ferguson, but we were beaten to the player’s signature behind the scenes.
