Edinson Cavani and Harry Maguire fail to train with Man United after international break

Manchester United pair, Edinson Cavani and Harry Maguire have reportedly failed to turn up at training, following their stints with Uruguay and England during the international games.

According to Manchester Evening News, both players didn’t arrive Carrington for training on Thursday, thereby casting doubts over their readiness for this weekend’s clash against West Brom.

Over the course of the week, it was reported that eleven of Cavani’s Uruguay teammates tested positive for Covid-19, which casts doubt over the striker’s health condition.

Meanwhile, Maguire is said to have picked up a bruise on his foot during the Three Lions’ recent clash against Iceland.

It puts United in a difficult situation, with other players like Alex Telles, Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, all a doubt for the match as well.
