Manchester United to record losses of about £200m. Here is why

According to Daily Mail report, quoting an analysis by Vysyble, Manchester United are certain to record losses of about £200m due to the impact of Covid-19, even if the United fans return to Old Trafford this season.

The report also have it that Premier League clubs are set to lose around £1billion overall.

The club’s revenue has taken a hit reaching the lowest point since 2015.

The prediction was made based on the club’s financial results from the last quarter, published last week.

According to those figures, the club suffered a £56.1m increase in net debt, as well as took a £20.7m hit on the revenue from the first quarter in 2019 financial year.
