Manchester United’s new signing, Edinson Cavani, could be set to make his first start for the club, as we play West Brom this weekend.

The Red Devils appear set to be without Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, who have injuries, with Mason Greenwood also looking doubtful.

Martial was spotted training alone recently, after missing France’s 4-2 win over Sweden on Tuesday, while Rashford also had to pull out of England’s squad with an injury concern.

Greenwood was snubbed by Gareth Southgate when he released his squad list for the games against the Republic of Ireland, Iceland and Belgium, with reports suggesting Solskjaer wanted to rest him.

This means Cavani is now in the running for his first start for United, after having to come from the bench in his previous matches.

The Uruguayan already has a goal to his name this season, which came against Everton at Goodison Park last weekend.
