Manchester United midfielder Bruno has revealed how he felt captaining the club for the first time against PSG.
The Portuguese saw it an honour to wear the United armband, but insists that any player can be a leader without officially being the captain.
“The first dream was playing for the club, and after that to play for the club as a captain, it’s such an honour, you know?” Bruno Fernandes told the UTD podcast on captaining Man United for the first time.
“You can be a leader without being a captain. It’s the way you live your life, how you are on the training ground, in your own life, how you grew up, your mentality, it’s a little bit of all this,” he also added.
Bruno was handed the armband against PSG due to Harry Maguire missing the game with an injury.
The midfielder was superb in the game as he scored in our 2-1 win over the French Champions.
