Manchester United star, Alex Telles, has tested negative for coronavirus, according to the Brazilian FA.
The former FC Porto man had tested positive recently for the second time in a month, after getting close to an infected teammate.
However a recent statement from Brazil’s national team’s press office says the player tested negative, and is available to travel with the rest of the team to face Uruguay in their next 2022 World Cup qualifier.
This also means that barring any last minute changes, Telles should be able to make his Premier League debut for United, with Luke Shaw injured and ruled out for weeks.
This news couldn’t have come at a better time than this.
